Religious Affairs Committee

The religious affairs committee assists the rabbi and cantor in maintaining religious life at CBI. Its duties include:

• Maintaining decorum in the sanctuary, including making sure there are ushers throughout the year
• Maintaining our prayer books and tallitot
• Assigning skill honors (torah and haftarah reading) for the high holidays
• Supporting our daily minyan
• Sponsoring religious education for adult members
• Discussing changes in religious practices at CBI

The committee meets about once per month, usually on the 3rd Thursday of each month.
