The Book of Esther tells us that Purim is a time of 'feasting and gladness, of sending portions (Mishloach Manot) on to another'.
Join your CBI congregation family in celebrating this festive holiday by being part of our mishloach manot tradition. Remember CBI friends and staff by sending a basket of gladness, while supporting an essential CBI fundraiser. Your good wishes will be noted on a card accompanying an assortment of wonderful treats delivered to your designees. A shopping bag featuring the winning artwork from the CBI children's Purim art contest will hold your gift.
If you wish to share a shalach manot basket with an Israeli soldier, we'll send your contribution to The American Zionist Movement's Purim Connection.
IT'S EASY TO PARTICIPATE! Your cost is $6.00 for each family to whom you send a basket.
Our Purim basket program is available on-line. The Purim Basket Ordering Page lets you enter the system and create an order form just for you. Just check the names of those families you would like to send to and submit the form. You will be billed as part of your usual CBI billing.
Note that the form has a place to indicate if you would like to
reciprocate to those who are sending to you.
If you wish to do so, check off the reciprocate box and we will add your name
to the package for anyone you reciprocate to and bill you accordingly.
There is also a box to check off to receive a card in lieu of a gift
basket.
This year, there will be a maximum charge of $180 for baskets you send, whether through direct selections or through reciprocating.
If you can help us deliver baskets, please contact the office - 973-379-3811. Your children can earn social action credit by helping to deliver baskets.
