Congregation B'nai Israel is an egalitarian congregation affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism

While there are many different institutions within the Jewish community, only congregations have as their expressed goal creating and maintaining Jewish souls. As you browse through our site you will see our many programs for our diverse demographic populations. However, we recognize that our primary responsibility is to be a source of Jewish identity and involvement.

Members of our congregation occupy all different levels of Jewish involvement and committment. No matter what our backgrounds and views, we share two important values. We recognize that Judaism is a process whereby one acquires knowledge, and that knowledge must lead to practice.
