Tzedakah
Passover is the time for the annual appeal for two worthy causes. Maot Chittin (literally, "money for wheat") helps needy families celebrate Passover. The Hearts and Hands endowment fund, which is limited to this one appeal per year, funds tzedakah projects by our congregation throughout the year. Contributions to Hearts and Hands are limited to $18 per member of your household (e.g. the limit for a family of four would be $72).If you would like to contribute to Maot Chittin, please send a check to the office made out to the Rabbi's Fund, marked "Maot Chittin" in the memo portion.
If you would like to contribute to Hearts and Hands, please send a check to the office made out to CBI, marked "Hearts and Hands" in the memo portion.
